School of Education

The School of Education at ULK is a program that equips future educators with the skills, knowledge, and critical thinking necessary to excel in the classroom and beyond. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical training, students gain competence to lead and innovate in education.

Programs and Approach

Students can focus on different combinations blending science, technology, and languages. Options include Biology & Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics, Computer Science & Physics, Geography & History, English & French, English & Kinyarwanda, and English & Kiswahili.

Exit Awards

Graduates are awarded the Bachelor of Education (Hons) degree in their chosen specialization. This prepares them for careers in teaching, educational leadership, research, and further studies, ensuring they are fully equipped to excel in the educational field.
